Advent: Joy
As we get ready for Christmas, we remember and meditate on all that the Lord God did before Jesus came into this world. This week we are specifically focusing on the Joy of God. We want to use this time to pray for God to prepare Azerbaijanis to experience the Joy of their salvation.
Psalm 105:43
So he brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with singing.

Let's Pray
• Lord God, we ask that local believers would multiply the DNA of being thankful and joyful in every circumstance and that amongst Azerbaijanis believers would be known as a grateful, joyful people. Let grumbling and complaining be far from our lips.
• Father, would you lead Azerbaijanis to read the scriptures and even their own Quran and reveal to them in the scriptures that it is all pointing to the coming of Jesus. Remove the veil from their faces so that they may eagerly desire Jesus to fill their lives.
• Jesus, we know that all who live in Azerbaijan have a deep desire in their souls for you, whether they know it or not. Thank you that you are the way the Truth and the Life. Would they see that this season!
• Holy Spirit, as you revealed your plan to Joseph and Mary through dreams would you also come to many Azerbaijanis in dreams these days before Christmas. Thank you that you are faithful to not hide from those who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness.
