Advent: Hope
As we get ready for Christmas, we remember and meditate on all that the Lord God did before Jesus came into this world. This week we are specifically focusing on the Hope of God. We want to use this time to pray for God to prepare Azerbaijanis to find their hope in Jesus.
Isaiah 8:17
I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him.

Hoping In Jesus Returning
Revelation 21:3-5
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Let's Pray
• Pray that believers would put their hope in the future promise of God that He will make all things new and He will wipe away the bad things from this earth.
• Pray that believers would not hope in their own efforts to bring this about, but in God who is more that able to hasten the return of Jesus!
• Father, open up Azerbaijanis eyes, ears, and hearts to receive the hope of Jesus and the hope of a new creation.
• Jesus, would you meet those that don't know you yet and reveal to them how hoping in you will transform their lives.
• Holy Spirit, would you stir the hearts of believers and non-believers alike to hope for one greater than themselves, to hope for Jesus.
