All that We Have is Yours
A group of Muslim background believers in Beirut felt challenged that rather than only receiving help from others they should give to others in need. They started a regular offering each time they met when they learned how the early Christians did so in the book of Acts. Even though they are very poor, after several months they were able to send a small gift to a disciplemaker serving in a different country. They then started to regularly help those in need aroun them and it resulted in more people joining their bible study groups. Pray for the small groups of believers in Beirut to grow in the ministry of mercy.
Pray with them: "God, you have given us everything we have. We thank you for the strong faith of the believers who sold what they had to meet others' needs, and we ask you to help us also be very kind and obedient. As happened then, may our kindness point many to salvation. We pray for this in Jesus' name."
