Pray for an Acts 19 movement to reach every unreached people and place in Mashhad, Iran and the surrounding regions.

Following a botched 2015 nuclear deal with the U.S., firm sanctions on Iran have weakened their economy and further tainted the public opinion of the only Islamic Theocracy in the world.

As the access to basic necessities and governmental planning worsens, the people of Iran are further disillusioned with the Islamic utopia the government promised.

These are just a few of the many factors that are contributing to Iran hosting the fastest-growing church in the world. Mashhad, the holiest city in Shia Islam, is a strategic staging post for the church in Iran as millions of Muslims pilgrimage to the city yearly.

Prayer Emphasis

Pray for God-glorifying, multiplying house churches in each of the 7 languages spoken in this city, especially among the Northern Kurds and the Persians.

Pray for the gospel SURGE teams as they radically obey Jesus and plant churches; especially pray for wisdom, courage, and protection.

Pray that God will raise up a great host of cross-cultural missionaries who will take the gospel from Iran to the peoples of the surrounding countries.

Pray for followers of minority religions such as Baha'i and Zoroastrianism, who face both persecution from the government and society, as well as neglect in gospel outreach.

Pray for the Kingdom of God to be shared in homes, schools, parks, and businesses.
