Jesus never did the exact same thing twice. Have you ever noticed that he evaluated each situation in its own right and did what he thought best. He also regularly reviewed what happened with his disciples, giving them the opportunity to ask questions and clarify what they understood. Each time Jesus healed someone or preached to a crowd he would steal away on his own to pray, then regroup with his disciples.
Movement leaders learn from Jesus' strategy. They regularly review how things are going on both a small scale and large scale. They look at individual discovery groups and churches, asking if what they are doing there is leading to deeper maturity as well as generational growth. They also evaluate the overall network of discovery groups and churches within their movement, looking for gaps, disunity, or confusion. They then take the time needed to address these concerns and possibly change what they've been doing. Movement leaders also spend an abundant amount of time in prayer. As they seek Jesus, He guides them in the ways He wants them to walk. They often regroup the church leaders to discuss questions and to equip them to go out. The most humble movements critically evaluate all aspects of their movement and are willing to stop or change things that aren't working anymore, and start new things from ideas people in the movement have. Their goal is always to make more disciples of Christ and see him magnified.
God we ask you to give movement coaches and disciple-makers vision and courage to evaluate their work on a regular basis. We pray they will clearly see what needs to be continued, started, changed or stopped. Lord, humble your church leaders in Diyarbakir to be willing to ruthlessly evaluate their practices and activities. Open their eyes to see the gaps, both in their church practices and the groups of lost peope in their community they have yet to engage. We pray for the church leaders to gather together and spend more time in prayer together – speak to them Jesus! Let them hear your voice and obey it. May you be gloried.

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.
ReadPsalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance."
