December's Strategic City: All of Turkey

During the month of December let's strategically pray together for All of Turkey. 

You can also join us for a 7 Day Advent Prayer Week on December 1-7. Links provided at the bottom of each day.

 

Psalms 66:1-4

"Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth! Sing about the glory of his name! Tell the world how glorious he is.

Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! Your enemies cringe before your mighty power.

Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.”

Turkey is a nation mixed with culture from the East and the West. The people here are hospitable, kind and generous, but they do not know the saving power of Jesus.

Five strategic cities in Turkey have been selected for us to advocate for. Why were these cities chosen? Because they are gathering places for some of the least reached peoples in Turkey. The theory is, when those who live in these cities from various people groups come to know Jesus, they will be able to take the gospel back to their hometowns and peoples more easily than an outside catalyst.

We invite you to pray alongside us for a disciple making movement to begin in ALL FIVE strategic cities! This month pray for each of these cities: Istanbul, Antalya, Ankara, Diyarbakir, and Gaziantep.

Strategic Focus: Turkey

Prayer Point:

Lord, nothing can compare with the beauty and creativity of your marvelous works. It's amazing that we can know you and behold your beauty. You alone deserve our praise. May all the peoples of Turkey praise you, O God, may every unreached people group here know your name! Jesus, we ask for more discovery bible studies to begin this month. May your disciple makers utilize the birth of Jesus to talk about the coming King. We pray for traditional Turkish churches to boldly proclaim the message of Christ this month. May we celebrate together as many new believers are baptized, Lord.
