Urdu Speakers in Turkey

Let's pray specifically for one of the unreached people groups living in Turkey today

Revelation 7:9

"After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands."

Urdu Speakers in Turkey

Urdu speakers come from all walks of life, but they usually originate in either Pakistan or northern India. The Urdu possess a sense of group identity based on cultural and historical factors: the Islamic religion, a Persian cultural tradition, the Urdu language, and the tradition of Muslim supremacy in northern India. There are some Urdu believers in Turkey.

Prayer Point:

God, we ask you to pierce the Urdu speaking Jesus followers' hearts and quicken their feet to go out among the lost in their own communities. Multiple your Church, O God. Increase your favor among the Urdu in Turkey. Though this is a smaller community in Turkey we know they still have strong ties to their Muslim families in Pakistan and India – use this time while they are away from their homeland to have their eyes opened to the gospel. Jesus, send new Urdu believers back to their homelands with the gospel so that you may penetrate deep into the darkness of Islam in those countries too. May we see ALL the Urdu speakers from every nation present that the throne worshipping the Lamb of God!

Understand the Urgency

February 4, 2025

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.

Rejoice and Sing!

February 3, 2025

Psalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you;     they will sing your praises,     shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done,     what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea,     and his people went across on foot.     There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever.     He watches every movement of the nations;     let no rebel rise in defiance."
