God has called us all to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey all that He commanded. But the reality is that some disciples are more active in making new disciples and teaching them obey, than others are. In DMM it is good practice to not only be going out among the lost, but also to be training the body of Christ to do the same. As we train others we should remember to “move with the movers; and don’t linger with the lingerers”.
Sometimes we find people who only want more and more training, but do not go out and practice what they have learned. These people can be "time-suckers" for effective disciple makers because they desire so much of your time. Don't wait around hoping one day they will try to do the things you have taught them from the Word. God's message is too important for discipile makers to ample time on those who aren't doing anything. That's why it's important to watch and follow up with trainees who ARE going out and trying to implement what they have learned. These are the disciples that may not ask much of your time and energy, but are well worth the investment. Move with those who are moving; assist and train them to be more effective.
Jesus we pray that discovery group and church leaders will invest the majority of their time with those who are obeying God’s word. Give wisdom to the disciple makers in Istanbul to know who is a "time-sucker" and who is genuinely wanting to learn and go do. Help the disciple makers to set aside time and prioritize those who are putting into practice what they are learning. Teach your church what it means to walk alongside someone well. Give energy and passion to those going out among the lost, that they would reap a great harvest!

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.
ReadPsalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance."
