"When Jesus and his followers came to Capernaum, the men who collected the Temple tax came to Peter. They asked, 'Does your teacher pay the Temple tax?' Peter answered, 'Yes, Jesus pays the tax.'
Peter went into the house, but before he could speak, Jesus said to him, 'What do you think? The kings of the earth collect different kinds of taxes. But who pays the taxes—the king’s children or others?' Peter answered, 'Other people pay the taxes.'
Jesus said to Peter, 'Then the children of the king don’t have to pay taxes. But we don’t want to upset these tax collectors. So go to the lake and fish. After you catch the first fish, open its mouth and you will find a coin. Take that coin and give it to the tax collectors for you and me.'"
Lord, you care about everything we need to live in this world and you take care of us well. Lord, we ask for your provision for Turkish disciples who are going out and making more disciples. You know the economy in Turkey is failing quickly and daily necessities are beyond what most citizens can even afford now, but Lord, you take care of the flowers of the field and the birds of the air – so we know you'll take care of your beloved children as well. Jesus we ask for your help in paying medical bills, rent and utiliities each month for your disciples in Istanbul. Give great faith to your people as they trust you in every part of their lives.

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.
ReadPsalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance."
