Wise and Timely Words

Luke 12:11-12

“And when you are brought to trial in the synagogues and before rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how to defend yourself or what to say,  for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said.”

Prayer Point:

Thank you, Lord, for Your promise that we will have the words to say when we are brought before authoirities for Your name's sake. We praise you for your faithfulness. Lord, give wisdom and words to the Turks in Istanbul who are opposed by their neighbors and coworkers because they follow Jesus. Help your disciples to live a life above reproach of others, that they may earn the favor of being able to share the gospel of Jesus with hardened hearts around them. We pray for more discovery bible studies to begin now! Reveal your truth to Turks, that they will turn and follow after you.

Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.

Psalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you;     they will sing your praises,     shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done,     what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea,     and his people went across on foot.     There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever.     He watches every movement of the nations;     let no rebel rise in defiance."
