"Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, and everyone in his household believed in the Lord. Many others in Corinth also heard Paul, became believers, and were baptized."
The Meskhetian Turks originated in Georgia on the border with Turkey. Because their lives were radically disrupted during WWII, and they are still trying to deal with the after affects. The Meskhetian Turks highly value social cohesiveness. They are hoping for a cultural rebirth. They perform Muslim rituals, but also have their own pre-Islamic practices which involve superstitions, sorcery, and magic. Some wear amulets and "protective" talismans. As far as we know there are NO followers of Christ among them in Turkey.
Currently the Meskhetian Turks are Muslims, but we ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out workers into this field and produce a crop that is 30, 60 and 100 times what was planted. May the gospel spread more rapidly because of their sociatal closeness, Lord. Open the floodgates to drown out all darkness of superstitinos, sorcery, and magic. Fill up this emptiness with your love, hope, joy, patience, and kindness. May many leaders of the Meskhetian Turk communities come to know you and open their oikos to your saving truth. Jesus, we pray for baptisms to happen and for these new disciples to walk daily with you in obedience.

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.
ReadPsalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance."
