"The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. But since they could see the man who had been healed standing right there among them, there was nothing the council could say."
Jesus, without you we are just ordinary people, but with you we are bold. Suprise the Turks with this reality. We pray in Jesus' name. Jesus, help the lost in Istanbul be introduced to who you are today. Spark a spiritual interest in their hearts that they would want to start a discovery bible study with their family and friends. Transform the Turkish communities in Istanbul to places of worship to you alone. Stand beside the believers here to strengthen them in the face of much opposition and persecution. May their faith be grounded on your solid rock so that when the wind and the waves come they will not crumble.

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.
ReadPsalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance."
