"Jesus came and told his disciples, 'I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'"
Turkey is considered a bridge between the West and East, and because of this Turks live a lifestyle that incorporates both sets of values. Turkey is the only secular republic with a majority of the population being Muslim. The Lord has already begun His good work and there are a few believers among the majority people group here in Turkey. Unfortunately, the Turkish church is sometimes seen as run by foreigners and this can be an obstacle for unbelieving Turks. With so many lost around them there is a need for every Turkish believer to focus on spreading the good news and making disciples. The church needs to begin training and releasing their members to Go and Make more Disciples! There are millions of lost Turks here who are very fatalistic, meaning "if God wills it, it will happen", but not believing that God truly cares about them personally. Many rely on amulets of the "evil eye" to ward off evil spirits and trust in astrology to guide their future.
Jesus, awaken all of your Turkish church to rise up and remember their calling to their own people. Stir in the hearts of the pastors and church leadership to train and release the believers who hear your call and are ready to respond. Strengthen and encourage every believer who is sharing the good news. Bring forth your truth to all Turks, that they may trust in you alone. You gave your power and authority to your disciples and sent them out – open the eyes of all the disciples here to realize this is their calling too. Turn the blind eyes of Turks away from trusting in amulets and stars for their safety and future, and turn them towards Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith.

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.
ReadPsalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance."
