"And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ."
The Persians in Turkey are primarily first and second generation immigrants from Iran. The governments of Iran and Turkey are starting to work together to find "dissidents" in one another's country. Persians who fled to Turkey are not necessarily safe. Thanks to the excess of the Iranian government, a high percentage of Persians are secularized and tired of forced religion. This is resulting in a greater openness to the good news and encounters with Jesus through dreams.
Jesus, we long to be more like you! Teach us to imitate you in each and every situation. Provide more examples like Paul for the Persians in Turkey so they may learn from these examples and grow in Christ-likeness. Give every single one of your Persian disciples in Turkey a vision to model well with the goal of new disicples being able to reproduce Christ-likeness. We pray for every Jesus follower among the Persians to have a vision for multiplication. May your church among the Persians model clear, simple, reproducible examples in every spiritual generation.

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.
ReadPsalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance."
