" No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us."
Heavenly Father, thank you that as we grow in humility we're able to respond to our mistakes in ways that honor you. There are so many ways that we make mistakes and sin as we run this race. And making disciples is messy! Give us an attitude like Paul. Teach your children among the Kurds in Diyarbakir to focus on what lies ahead. There is still so much growth and transformation you want to do! Don't let the mistakes of the past paralyze your disciples from moving forward, trying again, and trying new things as they share the good news and make disciples who love and obey you. Give your children courage to share honestly with each other about mistakes so they can learn from one another. May your church in this city be like one movement leader who said, "We've tried and failed at more things than most people ever attempt." And in each attempt and mistake enable your children to learn well and continue growing.

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.
ReadPsalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea, and his people went across on foot. There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever. He watches every movement of the nations; let no rebel rise in defiance."
