Kyrgyz in Turkey

Let's pray specifically for one of the unreached people groups living in Turkey today.

Colossians 3:12

"Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."

The Kyrgyz People in Turkey

The Kyrgyz are a Turkic people who originated in southern Siberia and northeastern China. For centuries they often needed to flee dangerous nations. Today, most Kyrgyz are Muslim and many turn to mediums and seers to cure sickness with magic, communicate with spirits, and control events. Almost all new Kyrgyz believers have to go through a breaking of demonic powers over their lives. Pray for families to come into the Kingdom of light together and break their allegiances to evil spirits. Pray for these new disciples to learn they are dearly loved by God and how to clothe themselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Prayer Point:

God, thank you that there is no darkness in you at all and that there is freedom through Jesus Christ from all bondage. Help Kyrgyz people in Turkey learn to turn to you for all their needs, you the Creator of the Universe and Healer of Disease. Shine your light into their darkness, Lord, and rescue them from all the evil powers at work in their lives. May your Kyrgyz followers become mighty prayer warriors especially equipped for spiritual warfare because of what you have rescued them from. Let them clothe themselves with compassion as your set apart holy people.

Understand the Urgency

February 4, 2025

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.

Rejoice and Sing!

February 3, 2025

Psalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you;     they will sing your praises,     shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done,     what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea,     and his people went across on foot.     There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever.     He watches every movement of the nations;     let no rebel rise in defiance."
