Disciplemaking Principle: Give Thanks in Everything

Disciple makers around the world talk about the significance of planting a DNA of thankfulness in new disciples. Many movements face unfathamable persecution, yet remain thankful to God and their movement family. No matter what advances a movement sees, or the struggles that try to tear it apart, disciples remember to give thanks in all situations. 

Philippians 1:3-5

"Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy,  for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. "

Prayer Point:

Lord we pray for the disciple makers in Ankara to be thankful in all circumstances. We ask you to strengthen them as they face persecution from the govement, family and friends. May they be filled with joy in both the hard days and the exciting days. We pray that these disciple makers would plant the DNA of thankfulness in every new disciple from the beginning. Lord, let us see the fruit of their labor in abundance.
