Church is Family

Disciple-Making Principle: The Church is a Family

In disciple making movements we emphasize that Church ISN'T a building or a once a week event space. Church IS a group of disciples who have covenanted together to follow Jesus and obey his commands. The church supports one another throughout the week, living life together, doing ministry together and interacting on a deeper level, like a healthy family.

Ephesians 2:19

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God…"

Prayer Point:

We pray for every believer in Istanbul and Turkey, that they would know they belong to Your family, the church. We pray for strong relationships and loyalty to define the Turkish church, that they would work together as family, care for one another, and reach out to those who have not yet heard the Good News.

Focus City: Istanbul

Praying as a group?

Leading others in prayer is a great step in making disciples. We want to celebrate your and their faithfulness. For each person that prays with you, we will add 15 minutes to the 17.4 days of prayer committed so far.

Disciplemaking Principle: Understand the Urgency of the Task Jesus tells his disciples that we will not know the hour in which he will return, but that we should always be ready. Disciple Making Movements focus on the urgency of the task at hand - all peoples, nations, tribes and languages hearing the good news of Christ.

Rejoice and Sing!

February 3, 2025

Psalm 66:4-7 "Everything on earth will worship you;     they will sing your praises,     shouting your name in glorious songs. Come and see what our God has done,     what awesome miracles he performs for people! He made a dry path through the Red Sea,     and his people went across on foot.     There we rejoiced in him. For by his great power he rules forever.     He watches every movement of the nations;     let no rebel rise in defiance."
