The Messiah is Crucified

God's plan for the Messiah to give his life as a ransom is both purposeful and pure.

 

Acts 2:22-24

"People of Israel, listen! God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know. But God knew what would happen, and his prearranged plan was carried out when Jesus was betrayed. With the help of lawless Gentiles, you nailed him to a cross and killed him. But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip."

Prayer Point:

God, by your definite plan and wisdom, you let rebellious men crucify and kill Jesus. Overcome Gaziantep's widespread lie that Jesus didn't die on the cross. If they understand history and the prophets, and experience the resurrected power of our Messiah, they will bring you glory. Allow the people of Gaziantep to be released from their strongholds of love of money, love of fame and love of self. Bring them true life through you, Jesus. We pray in our Lord's name.
