In Islam God has 99 names–such as All-Merciful, The Beneficent, The Source of Peace. Most of these names can also be found in the Bible but focusing on them can make God seem far off, distant, so Holy yet unreachable. It is proper to revere God and to comprehend His holiness, yet God has chosen to be near and call Himself Emmanuel, God with us. Father you are holy, yet in your holiness you came to reveal yourself to us. Come today and reveal the fullness of who you are to the people of Karachi.

God's love welcomes us into His family and into intimacy with Him. "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him" (1 John 4:16). Pray for Christians from a Muslim background in Karachi to understand this truth that no mattter how others treat them, that they are with God and can fully experience the love God showed us on the cross of Christ.
