Most Syrian Kurdish people are Sunnis because their forefathers were forced to convert to Islam. Many have fled to Lebanon because their land and homes in Northern Syria have been overtaken.

Lord, you sent Jesus as a witness to speak truth about the light so that all the Syrian Kurdish Sunnis might believe through him. He is the light to reveal truth to the Syrian Kurdish Sunnis, announcing to them that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
